About This Project
A sibling of carpet tile base, bak tak uses whole carpet tiles with minimal to no cuts - just make a hole in each corner, place back-to-back or face-to-face with another tile and fasten with binding posts. The installation can be as large as you like - here 12 tiles make a tackable area approximately 3’ x 5’. Backing side out is the lowest common denominator but face side out once in a while adds interest and texture. Use with carpet tile base for a unified aesthetic.
