About This Project
The carpet’s sound insulation makes this soffit ideal for spaces where noise needs to be dissipated such as restaurants, bars or even conference rooms. Approximately 40 carpet samples are necessary to fabricate the soffit shown which covers and area of 6’x32’. The carpet cylinders are attached to a gypsum board soffit which conceals the spotlights that diffuse colored light onto the space.
