About This Project
The idea behind the ‘Charpai Stool’ is to add an Indian touch along with comfort, artistic values and durability. I have used a single sample of self-made carpet which I created as a part of an abstract artwork. By showing art in the form of carpet and then recreating it in the form of a stool has not only made it an object for relaxation of body but also eyes, giving new meaning to its utility.
